SACRAMENTO – With the Golden State Warriors’ season hanging in the balance, forward Draymond Green was returned to the starting lineup on Sunday for Game 7 of the team’s first-round series against the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors’ traditional starting lineup of Green, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney was plus-145 in 331 minutes during the regular season. That five-man group hasn’t started a game together this postseason since Game 2, which also was Wiggins first start since Feb. 13. Green was suspended for Game 3 after stepping on the chest of Sacramento’s Domantas Sabonis in Game 2, which opened the door for Poole to enter the starting lineup. Golden State went 2-1 in the games Green came off the bench. He scored a season-high 21 points off the bench in the team’s 123-116 Game 5 win.Poole averaged just 13.8 points while shooting 35.3% from the field and 23.8% from 3-point range in his four starts during the series.
